| When Available | By planning purchases to coordinate with anticipated needs most varieties can have several weeks of availability. There are many factors to consider. First, to serve as a guide for potential beginning availability dates, we have listed the HISTORIC DATE RANGE WHEN FIRST AVAILABLE for each variety in the VARIETY LIST. Next, during normal weather we will be picking most varieties over a 5 - 10 day period, depending on the variety. Some yellow herbaceous varieties have an even longer picking period - sometimes up to 20 days. Finally, as explained under the Storage sub-section in the BUYER INFORMATION section of the menu, proper storage can extend the range when most varieties will be available by several weeks. |
